While I see that David Bigwood has an id on Skype, I wonder whether any
others in PAM do. I do. But will not type it here. Many librarians
may not have conference call capability at their work phones. Would
use of Skype be helpful to them?

Maybe all of our members aren't familiar with skype. It's a way to do voice over ip without signing up for vonage or another brand's service. You can connect free to other skype users around the world, but have to pay to talk to land line users. I'm not affliated :)
I have a Skype account, but to use it as a voice-over phone service, you need a headset (which I also have with me).
