SLA Awards: All Nominations Are Officially Open

Do you know a colleague that deserves recognition for their contributions to the information profession, to their organization, to SLA, or maybe to all three?

SLA is pleased to announce that all awards and honors nominations are officially open. SLA Fellows and Rising Stars nominations formally opened on September 1st, and will remain live until December 15th of this year. Multiple recipients can be recognized for these honors, so if you know an "up and comer" or a colleague that has made considerable achievements within their profession, don't hesitate to let us know!

On November 1st, all other SLA award nominations officially opened, and will remain live until January 15th. These awards include the Dow Jones Leadership Award, the Rose Vormelker Award, the John Cotton Dana Award, and others. For a full list and descriptions of the SLA awards, click here.

If you have any other questions about nominating, or want to know what award your colleague/friend might be eligible for, contact John Walsh at SLA headquarters. We look forward to receiving your nominations, and bestowing these honors on those most deserving.
